Our Story
Hi. I’m Melanie Davis; born and raised amidst the clatter of dice and the shuffle of cards – my first foray into the world of board games began at a young age due to my dad’s influence (who was, and still is a huge DnD roleplayer). I personally believe that being a board gamer isn’t just a hobby but a way of life itself. I have forged many lasting friendships and unforgettable experiences with each roll of the dice, or shuffling of the cards. My hope is for more people to discover and fall in love with board games as much as I do. Hence, I decided to spread that love with the world by founding this site, Board Game Informer.
You could say Board Game Informer was born out of a shared love for board games and a desire to create a welcoming and informative space for board game enthusiasts of all levels.
